This a reproduction of the famous Zulu Iklwa by a genuine South African Bladesmith made specially for 'The Zulu Store'.
Traditional Zulu stabbing spear. The name is a phonetic derived from the sound the spear makes when it is withdrawn from the body. Forged carbon steel blade with African hard wood handle.
Blades are forged from spring steel and are hardened and tempered. The blade has a hammered forge finish. Shafts are African hard wood: Matumi, Tambotie or Kiaat. The binding for the spear is a copper sleeve, hemp wrap or copper wire.
The perfect opportunity for fans of the Anglo Zulu War & Zulu Warrior culture to show off a stunning piece. The British Martini-Henry rifle & Zulu Iklwa short spear are two of the most famous military weapons of the Victorian era, any fan would be a proud owner.

Designs are based on official historical examples from the The South African National Museum of Military History in Johannesburg, Hand crafted by expert Bladesmiths with a passion for Anglo Zulu war history & craftsmanship.

Care Instructions
For best resutls and to avoid any rare issues - Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.
DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.
